Every Stephen King Novel Ranked Worst To Best

Stephen King in It: Chapter Two
Scribner

The scope of 11/22/63 is nearly unrivalled in King's bibliography, and that's saying a lot. A time travel epic in which a college teacher journeys to 1958 and waits for the day he can save JFK from his upcoming assassination, this novel is a deep and compelling love story, an understated sci-fi tale and a book that dares to hurt its instantly endearing characters.

So good is King at transporting you back to the allure of America's '50s/'60s era, the novel traps you in its clutches so well you don't even realise you're reading a tragedy until it's too late. 11/22/63 is harsh, deeply moving and respectful of the events around it, and might just have King's best ever conclusion.
