Every Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights House 2019 - Ranked

I was very much looking forward to Jordan Peele's Us and it certainly didn't leave me wanting.

This maze gave me plenty of chills and remained a faithful recreation of the movie. Jordan Peele's films are known for their impressive use of sound and score to bring suspense and this was translated perfectly into the house. I was convinced mirrors might feature heavily and although they were there, they were used as a distraction for the Tethered to find you.

The acting in this house is particularly good. The scare actors portraying the Tethered version of Adelaide Wilson in both the cabin and in the rabbit room were eerily unsettling.

Personally, I found this to be the most uncomfortable of mazes, the last room of the house in particular issued a big "nope" from me as we entered. The maze balanced the beautiful facades of the Fun House with the creepy dark moments from the film, including the Wilson family's friends home.

Don't be tempted to overlook this maze if you have seen the film and aren't sure how it will translate. It works beautifully, in a spine-chilling sort of way.
