3. Have A Strategy

Given that this is the biggest ever Halloween Horror Nights yet, it's more important than ever to plan your strategy.

If you only have a limited time to spend at the event then you need to make sure you plan out exactly what you want to see so you don't miss out on that must do house.

Given its popularity, it's likely that Stranger Things will likely be the house with the longest queues this year so if this is a must do then get there early and be prepared to wait. If you are planning on being in the park early, you may wish to take advantage of the stay and scream areas near Finnegan's, Hello Kitty and Springfield so that you can get a jump on those coming in just for the event. So if you have to do Stranger Things, the Hello Kitty area could be the best place to hang out and wait.

Alternatively it could be worth hitting the three mazes (Horrors of Blumhouse, Slaughter Sinema and Dead Exposure: Patient Zero) at the back of the park first. It's likely that they will be less crowded earlier in the night as guests work their way backwards from the front.

Although the rides are fun you may wish to skip them and focus on the HHN treats if you've experienced the rides before.

Other things to consider is to pack light and wear shoes you won't lose in a house. After all, it just takes one good scare to lose a flip-flop.

You may also also want to check out the map of the event to plan your night before you go.
