Is Fashion Your Passion? Macy's Style Star Series Showcases Talent
A new and unique program searching for the nation's top style talent has been launched by Macy's and Maker Studios. The Next Style Star sees 16 up-and-coming stylists battling it out for a $10,000 cash prize, serve as a guest stylist for a Macys Photo Shoot, and the chance to see his/her winning look featured in Macy's Impulse Department in the flagship New York City store. The show is being run as part of Macy's The Platform YouTube channel. Each week the wannabe stylists will be challenged to create the perfect look for any occasion by utilizing Macy's wide-range of Impulse brands including Maison Jules, Sanctuary and Guess. Hosted by TV personality and fashion expert Jeannie Mai, The Next Style Star debuted on April 3rd but you can catch up with the series by checking out the below video player. New episodes will be going live every Thursday at 1pm EST. The series will feature a variety of judges, from reality star Whitney Port to MADE Fashion Week founder Jenne Lombardo. Macy's is one of the most iconic brands in the United States, with approximately 800 locations across the country.
