When Jennifer's name was called at the SAG awards after winning the award for Best Actress, it appeared that her midnight blue Dior dress ripped across the centre. Since then numerous comments including one from a spokesperson at Christian Dior have claimed that that the incident was not a wardobe malfunction but instead that the dress had three layers and it was merely the top part lifting up from the bottom. However, in an interview with Piers Morgan since the event, Jennifer rewatched the video of herself at the Oscars and seemed embarassed as she said "my pants fell off". Whether the situation was a wardrobe malfunction or not, Jennifer's reaction was as down-to-earth as ever, although she may want to be more careful about the dresses she chooses for such events next time.
