Myspace is Back With Redesign
Yesterday Justin Timberlake tweeted about the upcoming Myspace redesign/relaunch. Here's the video:
To little, to late? Yeah... who fully utilizes all the social media they are signed up for presently? Why do we need another? Playing devil's advocate, on face value it is incredibly slick. At the very least maybe a fresh (read FRAY-shhhh) design might catch some attention, enough to copy. If I were to go all pie in the sky, Tom's had quite some time to play around in Facebookland. He has been able to get the lay of the land, from a user's viewpoint, and could just have something that will shake things up. I am not holding my breath, but stranger things have happened. Don't get me wrong, Facebook's great and all (please don't disappear me, Zuck), but it is getting to be quite comfortable in its Big Brother shoes. Think about it, Facebook managed to get into Apple, and Apple does not play well with others. Particularly when other's have their own rules. So, having another option might be nice. Oh, wait, I forgot about Google+. And, their motto is "Don't Be Evil." Phew. Never mind, we have a save social media. Still, purely in the interest of having another distraction from the things I should be doing, I have signed up for an invite. I will use my membership to friend Tom and get an interview. I'll get back with all the juicy details. I mean, what else will Tom and I have to do being the only members of Members Only?
