Interest in Nessie and the people who search for her is not likely to disappear anytime soon. In fact, it is significant enough that there are two separate locations where you can learn about the history of the Loch and the monster within.

Nessieland has a large plastic Plesiosaurus outside of it and is hard to miss when driving through Drumnadrochit. This exhibit leans into the legend and can be entertaining if you want to learn a little about the facts and a lot about the mythology. Essentially, she is treated as being a real entity and this is her history.

There is also an Exhibition Centre that takes a more scientific approach. If you want to look at it from a practical point of view, this is maybe where to start. Including information about Deepscan, lists of historical sightings and some explanations of more famous debunked media, this does fall short of saying that the Loch Ness Monster definitely does not exist, but not far short of it.

If you're interested in any aspect of the Loch Ness Monster story, then either will scratch the itch. If you're a hardcore Nessie Hunter, then both will be required reading to fill in the gaps between what many of the locals will tell you.
