Pugs Vs Cats : 6 Reasons The World Became Obsessed With Cute Animals

5. A Cat's Bizarre Habits

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKvNqe8cKU4 No matter how many times you see it, a cat jumping five feet into the air and scarpering for cover at the sight of its own reflection will always be comedy gold. There must be hundreds of videos online of a cat scared stiff of a mirror; its fur on-end and tail fanned out into shaggy brush. It's just one of the things cats do that we find ...well, bizarre. The same can be said about their obsession with boxes. If you have cats of your own, you'll have witnessed this first hand. On Christmas morning, when all the packaging has been discarded and left in the corner of the room, a cat will find hours of enjoyment and playtime with nothing but the four cardboard walls. Even if it's in the most obscure shape and size, they are able to fit themselves quite comfortably inside for as long as needed. Apparently, it is the cat's natural instincts to hide inside something; to protect itself from predators. They enjoy the security of confined spaces, which help to alleviate stress and anxiety. Whatever the reason, we love it!

I love all things imaginative, from the page to the screen, and nurture a soft spot for Donald Sutherland and Daniel Bryan.
