2. Taurus (21st April - 21st May)
The first of the earth signs, Taurus - the bull, is a sign of no pretences. Taurus is extremely down to earth, practical, dependable and generous. Natives of this sign are good hard steady workers who enjoy the material side of life. They like good food, good wine, good clothes, good decor. They do tend to spoil themselves a bit and sometimes they go overboard with indulgence. Possessions and property are very important for the Taurean way of life. They can get very obnoxious and brag about their belongings - but this masks a deeper sense of malaise, of insecurity in the world. Taureans can be exceedingly lazy and self indulgent. Their lives can quickly get into a rut if they don't watch out and embrace change. Taureans are very stubborn and possessive. They focus on the physical and what is tangible in order to alleviate their fears about the world. Taurus is compatible with Virgo and Cancer.
