Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 26: 10 Things You Need To Know
9. Get There Early
Like we said, this event is extremely popular so queues can get long. Guests to some of the more popular houses can expect to wait as long as 2 hours before the scares begin.
To make the most of your time at HHN 26 make sure you get there early and be prepared to stay until the bitter end.
Doors open at 6:30 but even Universal recommend getting to the resort at 5pm as the car parks and security will be busy.
Getting there for the doors opening not only means that you will be to make the most of your time at the event but you will also be treated to the opening "scaremony", an unmissable show put on to welcome guests to the start of the night.
If you have regular day time tickets and are planning on staying in the parks all day then you don't have to leave and come back. As long as you have valid tickets to the that evening's event you can hang around in one of the holding areas. Springfield and in New York (around Finnigans Bar) as well as other areas, guests are able to grab a drink and hang around whilst the geniuses of Universal give the park a horror make over.
By staying in the holding areas you can also get a head-start on some of the mazes as you will be let loose to experience the horror at the same time as everyone else but you will already will be in the heart of the action.
