Universal Orlando Resort Confirms The Return Of Universal Holidays

The Grinch isn't the only thing coming back with the return of Mardi Gras in 2022.

It's official, Christmas in its full glory will be making a return to Universal Orlando Resort this year.

After a smaller celebration of the festive season last year; 2021 will see Universal Holidays coming back in full force. Guests can experience Grinchmas, Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Holiday Parade featuring Macy's.

Taking place between 13th November and 2nd January 2022, the holiday celebrations at Universal Orlando Resort have always been the most wonderful time of the year.

The Grinch is back staring in his own show, The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular. A magical little show that's sure to get you in the holiday spirit.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be receiving a festive makeover. Both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will be decorated for Christmas with the amazing vocals of Celestina Warbeck providing the perfect holiday music. The Frog Choir will also be back singing Christmas songs outside in Hogsmeade. You might also want to grab a Hot Butterbeer and find a space to watch the festive show at Hogwarts.

The Holiday Parade featuring Macy's will also be back this year. The amazing parade feature's floats and balloons featuring your favourite DreamWorks and Illumination’s characters including The Minions, Madagascar and Shrek. Oh, and it wouldn't be a Christmas parade without Santa Claus.

The party doesn't end at Christmas with Mardi Gras back in full force in 2022. Running from 5th February until 24th April, Mardi Gras will fill Universal Studios Florida with music, dancing and delicious food.

After a slightly smaller celebration in 2021, Mardi Gras is back with a bang with the return of concert nights. The liveliest parade in all of Orlando will be back so get ready to catch all the beads!

One of the best things about the Mardi Gras celebrations at Universal Orlando Resort is all the amazing food. With New Orleans inspired treats and food from all around the world, you'll be singing "feet don't fail me now" as you head to the parks.
