Universal Studios Hollywood has enjoyed a major overhaul in the past 5 years with over 75% of the park being completely upgraded. And it doesn't look like improvements are going to be stopping any time soon.

To go along with their "new park" the company have revitalised their logo to celebrate this era of change. Although the logo isn't too different from the current one, it certainly is more modern and glossy.

Universal Studios Hollywood made the announcement today on their Youtube channel, where they showcased some of the changes that have taken place.

In recent years Universal has opened new attractions such as Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem, The Simpson's and this April saw the spectacular grand opening of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Not stopping at the the theme park itself, there have been changes elsewhere. Along with new parking structures, CityWalk is getting a make over.

The IMAX cinema in CityWalk will be completely transformed with all new recliner seats, an all new bar and a state of the art sound system.

Some of the new restaurants will also be finding a home at CityWalk include Sichuan style Dongpo Kitchen, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and the sugary delights of Voodoo Doughnut.

Although it might not be the huge announcement we were all hoping for (and were teased by Universal), it's always a delicious treat to find out about new restaurants.
