Sky Movies€™ official Blog of the Year, Obsessed With Film, recently expanded to become WhatCulture! - a sprawling geek culture haven with extra doses of blogging entertainment for those who don€™t just find their kicks from film. We now cover comics, video games, TV, technology, sports, WWE... The list goes on. In fact, just about every pop culture delight to suit those with more eclectic tastes. WhatCulture, of course, lives and dies by its contributors, so if you enjoy any of the above and you like the sound of regular free games/DVDs/comics, a huge audience for your work and many more perks relating to your topic of choice, then drop us a line at editor@whatculture.com. No experience necessary; just enthusiasm and a passion to write about what you love online. --- WhatCulture is currently run by a select group of talented and trusted contributors which means our roster list is quite small and it€™s a daily battle to keep up with all the goings on in the world and review all the material sent to us. We are always on the look out for new writers and, as the site continues to grow, we're very excited about the prospect of getting more people on-board. Before you email us, you should read the following: You must be serious about your application. Time wasters need not apply, we will expect at least some level of commitment when applying. All contributors will be subject to a two week trial. Although we spend much time worrying about spelling and grammar, your writings must be read-able and constant mistakes will not be tolerated. Basically if your work is not something that is easy to read and publishable €“ or is not something we think our readers would be interested in - then your application will be declined. We do not require any HTML knowledge but any WordPress or blogging experience would be beneficial. You can apply from anywhere in the world and it would be beneficial if you are willing to travel for press events etc. For this reason we would prefer if you were 18 or over when applying, however this is not a requirement.
