6. Final Preparations Are Made

Depending on the prison where the execution is taking place, a prisoner might be given a brand new set of clothes to wear for their final moments. This is done in most prisons, but it isn't necessarily always done or requested. There is one wardrobe change everyone has to do to prepare for the execution.

Every condemned prisoner is fitted with a diaper, and there's a common-sense reason for doing so. When a person dies, they lose all muscle control, which means the sphincters that hold back urine and excrement are released, and our bladder and bowels are voided.

Granted, there has to be something in the tank for it to happen, but it's a precautionary measure taken to ensure the dignity of the condemned and the easy cleaning of their remains. Of course, it's also possible that a prisoner might, well, piss themselves, and given the situation, it's not surprising.

Once the prisoner is dressed and prepped for their execution, they proceed to the place where it all happens and are moved into the last room they will see before they die.
