2. You Can Restore Your Windows 7 Files To Windows 10
Introduced in Windows 8, File History is Windows' answer to Time Machine, letting you backup up old versions of files and documents on your PC in case things go wrong. The Windows 7 equivalent to File History was called 'Backup and Restore', and Windows 10 has been designed to allow you to backup and restore files using this classic method. You can even restore your old Windows 7 files to Windows 10. To do this: Click the Settings app > Update & recovery > Backup Click 'Go to Backup and restore (Windows 7)', then you'll be taken to the good old-fashioned W7 tool. Here, you can restore your W7 backups too.
