We have known Friends for far too long. If you want to define “too long”, it’s 23 seasons, 236 episodes and around 5000 minutes. We’ve literally woken up, had breakfast, gone to work, went on dates/night outs and gone back to sleep with the six of them. They have taught us how to laugh, sing, eat, dress, break-up, propose, marry and even how to divorce.
It’s true that everyone focused on Joey’s eating habits, Monica’s obsessive cleaning, Rachel’s gossiping, Ross’ weird passion for dinosaurs, Phoebe’s street life histories, Chandler’s smoking and, of course, endless sarcastic jokes. But what we really forget about is the gang had other “bad” habits that made the show funnier and more relateable. Each of them got drunk at least once during the show either to have closure, to overcome ageing pressure, to get over a break-up or simply just for fun.
