10 Biggest UFC Main Event Flops

9. Rashad Evans vs. Rampage Jackson (UFC 114)

Ufc On Fox One of UFC's surefire methods for helping to create anticipation for a fight is to place two competitors against each other as coaches on the reality show The Ultimate Fighter. Light heavyweights Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and "Suga" Rashad Evans had absolutely no use for one another, and the tension between the two men led to some of the more entertaining moments in the show's history. The match was for number one contender status to face Maurioc "Shogun" Rua for his LHW title, Rampage was returning from filming The A-Team and Rashad was hungry to regain the belt. After promising fans some "black-on-black crime", not long after the opening bell Rashad landed a big right that sent Rampage reeling. Sadly, that would be one of the fight's only real exciting moments. LIke far too many of Rashad's fights, he got the win by decision utilizing his superior speed and wrestling, and like far too many of Rampage's fights, he whined and made excuses afterward. For a fight that carried so much hype, and a supposed blood feud, the two failed to deliver the beatdown they guaranteed.
