10 Chael Sonnen Controversies We Won't Forget

10. Mean Street Pizza's Jon Jones Special: Full Of Chicken And Loaded With Cheese

Mean Chael Sonnen is a talented guy, no question. He's got a solid career ahead of him in broadcasting, he's dabbled in real estate (maybe not such a great idea, that one, but we'll get to that later), has held political aspirations, and he's owned a small business as well. The small business? Mean Street Pizza. Named for the "mean streets" of West Linn, Oregon, where Sonnen grew up. The best thing ever produced from that pizza joint? Well, that would be the Jon Jones Special: Loaded with chicken and full of cheese, the advert read. Delivery available to "avoid a DUI" - a knock on Jones' past DUI incident. This bit of fun was a result of Jon Jones refusing to fight Sonnen on short notice at UFC 151. As a result, the event was cancelled, though Jones would fight Sonnen the following year after they coached opposite one another on the Ultimate Fighter. However, the restaurant business seemed to go downhill for Chael shortly afterwards.
