10 Controversial Posts Jon Jones Hastily Deleted From The Internet

Jon Jones Homophobic Instagram In April 2014, Jon Jones experienced an even worse public relations struggle than usual: he was accused of making homophobic slurs online via Instagram. There are some comments that we can't even print here - the homophobic slurs tweeted to critics of Jones are among some of the worst. What we can print - Jones allegedly called homosexuality a sin, and used the F-- word as a slur. Not something any major athlete should be doing. Now, here's a little disclaimer: Jones made the excuse that he didn't make these, and blamed a hacked account. His manager blamed a lost phone. Then Jones said it was an overzealous employee tasked with handling his social media presence. Wait, what? Giving three excuses in a period of 24 hours makes Jones' seem, oh, we don't know... fake, maybe?
