3. Hope Solo

For years, retired goalie Hope Solo was one of the faces of the United States women's national soccer team. As a member of the USWNT, from 1996 to 2016, Solo is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup winner. In the 2011 World Cup, she won the Golden Glove award given to the tournament's best goalie.

Off the field, Solo has been a very polarizing figure. The former football star has been arrested for misdemeanor assault charges and was essentially kicked off the national team for making disparaging remarks about an opponent, the Swedish national team.

Despite her bad girl persona, the Olympic gold medalist was still able to find love. Since 2012, Solo has been in a relationship with American Football player Jerramy Stevens. Stevens played in the NFL from 2002 to 2010 and competed in Super Bowl XL as a member of the Seattle Seahawks.

After having only dated for around two months, the couple decided to get hitched. Though there have been some public issues between the two — most notably a domestic abuse investigation in 2012 — they remain husband and wife.
