With every game Jake Livermore plays in the Premier League, the 25 year old midfielder looks more and more accomplished and assured, maturing into his role as a key figure in the Hull City starting line-up. Having been restricted to sporadic appearances for Spurs over the last five years, he has also been farmed out on seven separate loan deals. Livermore has spoken out about his frustration at broken promises from the club he spent eight years with, with first-team opportunities fading with each passing season. Leeds were one beneficiary of Livermores frustrations, however, having snapped him up for the final two months of the 11/12 season as they readied a last-ditch assault for promotion to the Premier League. The 21 year old made five lively appearances for the club, although they ultimately missed out on promotion and Livermore returned to White Hart Lane. He may have only played a handful of games for the club, but he would certainly command a regular starting place if he was back at the Championship club, if his consistently effective performances in the Premier League are anything to go by.
