10 MMA Fighters With The Most Total Career Fights
5. Ikuhisa Minowa - 113
Ikuhisa 'Minowman' Minowa is one of the true pioneering legends of MMA. Despite winning just 1 of his first 10 fights, the legendary grappler rebounded to become a mainstay of the Japanese scene.
After starting his career in Pancrase, Minowa would next win his one-and-only fight in the UFC, defeating Joe Slick at UFC 25. From there, he would go on to carve out an illustrious career in PRIDE, endearing himself to Japanese fans by competing in David vs. Goliath matchups, using his mastery of leg locks to pull off incredible upsets.
Famous for his signature red trunks, mullet, and pro-wrestling inspired fighting style, Minowa went on to become one of the biggest MMA stars in Japan not named Kazushi Sakuraba.
Minowa's finest hour came in the 2009 Dream Super Hulk Grand Prix. Going in as the smallest man competing in the open-weight tournament, he submitted giants in Bob Sapp, and Hong Man-Choi, before knocking out feared striker Sokoudjou in the final.
Total MMA record: 63 wins, 42 losses, 8 draws
