Has there ever been a fight that split English boxing fans more down the middle than the recent scraps between Carl Froch and George Groves. The two firs mett in 2013 when the cocky, young upstart Groves challenged Froch for his WBA and IBF super middleweight belts. Suprisingly, Groves gave Froch some issues during the bout, tagging him with punches that no one believed he would be able to land against the seasoned veteran. However, the bout was ruined due to a controversial decision by the referee to give Froch the TKO victory after he seemingly stepped in to stop the fight too quickly. Fans demanded a rematch between the two and they received one six months later at Wembley Stadium. Despite an elaborate entry that wouldn't have seemed out of place at a Wrestlemania, Groves was stopped once again in the eight round, this time emphatically by his Nottingham-born opponent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kskr90fDzL4
