Rarely has there ever been a fall from grace quite like Shaun Alexander's spectacular demise. The Seattle Seahawks running back racked up nearly 2,000 rushing yards in 2005 and won the NFL MVP award. His career saw five consecutive 1,100+ rushing yard seasons, with some immense totals, and was as deserving as anyone when it came to receiving the monster contract worth up to $62 million over 8-years. However, Alexander's numbers halved and he never ran for 1,000 yards in a season again, racking up just 11 TDs in his remaining 23 Seahawks games compared to 87 TDs in his previous 80 appearances. He lasted just two seasons of his contract before moving onto the Redskins where he ran for just 24 yards in four games.
