10 NFL Players Who Stole A Living

5. Daunte Culpepper

Daunte Culpepper had some great years pulling the strings for the Minnesota Vikings, and after notching up 4,717 passing yards and 39 TDs in 2004, he was quickly signed up to a mega-contract. The deal was worth up to $100 million over 10 years; he was supposed to be in it for the long haul, another decade, though after multiple clashes with his own coaches and a string of injuries, he lasted just one year. His passing yard total dipped to 1,564 over the seven games he was fit, yet still raked in huge money before he departed for a brief spell with the Miami Dolphins, followed by the Oakland Raiders, then the Detroit Lions, failing at each stop along the way.
