8. Jacksonville Jaguars
One year ago, the Jaguars were one of two teams interested in trading for Tebow when he was a Bronco. A year later, with a new general manager and head coach, the Jaguars are passing on the lefty. Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell made it pretty clear when he was quoted saying,
I cant imagine a scenario where hed be a Jacksonville Jaguar, Caldwell said.
When the idea of the Jets potentially trading Tebow came about, Jacksonville's name was the first to come up. Now, they're one of the first teams to say no. It's a shame for Tebow too, because he really could have made sense in that city. With Tebow, he could have challenged Blaine Gabbert for the starting job and he also would have been playing in the same state that he played his college ball with. It's funny how a year changes everything.
