9. The Fog Bowl
Sometimes the refs just have to call the game. Yes, real men can play in anything, can face any condition. But if you're a referee, don't you have to be able to see the game to be able to call it? Nobody could see anything! Players on both sides of the field had to tell coaches what just happened to decide on new strategies. Watching the game made one think you were on a bad channel, or your anttena was broken and you were being rewarded with static. But no, this game was "called" as best it could. The Eagles would go on to lose the game, and whilst having an explosive defense that dominated in the regular season, was forever labeled as postseason foul-ups. Maybe a rescheduled game might've changed that for the Eagles' benefit, and the city of Brotherly Love just might have a few Lombardi trophies to show off.
