10 Things We Learned From UFC Fight Night 46

9. Nikita Krylov Looks Legit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_KzFltwsMc When Nikita Krylov entered the UFC, there was a bit of a question mark. His record had some... irregularities. He was touted as an undefeated heavyweight prospect, and MMA Fighting and other websites billed him as such. Only, he actually had two losses to Vladimer Mishchenko by way of submission. Well, that sort of thing can happen in Eastern Europe where records are spotty. Then he debuted against Soa Palelei in the UFC, and lost something of a stinker. Both fighters wound up gassed, and Krylov wound up on the losing end of the affair. However, he bounced back with a head-kick knockout of Walt Harris. Krylov once against seemed legit - if undersized for heavyweight. He dropped down to light heavyweight after that victory and promptly lost to Ovince St. Preux via shoulder choke - but St. Preux is choking out guys left right and centre, and is headlining an upcoming card against Ryan Bader. In Krylov's second fight at light heavyweight he came out strong against Cody Donovan, and aside from a low blow that briefly slowed things down, he was strong all the way to a TKO victory. Krylov looked good enough to show that he's a legit fighter at 205.
