Pedro's buyout clause was pushed over £100M back in 2011 when he signed an improved contract to take him to 2016. Then, when he extended again earlier this summer until 2019, the buyout clause for his services remained the same and looked likely to ensure that he would stick around for good at the Camp Nou.

However, amid talks that Pedro has sat down with manager Luis Enrique to talk about his future at the club, it has been reported that his release clause has been dropped significantly down to £21.4M, meaning he is now available at a much more reasonable price. “It’s true that we decided to lower my buyout clause and that there are offers,” Pedro recently admitted.
