10 Things You Didn't Know About Matthew Dellavedova
5. He Was Described By His Own Coach As A Non-Athlete
Although taller than most at 6'4", Dellavedova is overshadowed by most of his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates in terms of both height and athleticism. This was even joked about by then-head coach Mike Brown, who quipped "I'd bet half my salary that I'd get a dunk before he does". He doesn't exactly boast the most natural of techniques either, possessing a jump shooting form derided by many as one of the ugliest in the league. Despite such limitations, at least relative to the unbelievably high standards of the NBA, Dellavedova makes up for it with sheer energy and determination, qualities evident in his tireless performances against the Golden State Warriors so far.
