10 Things Zinedine Zidane Wants You To Forget

9. Rejected The Chance To Manage Bordeaux Due To Financial Constraints

In football there are two common types of manager. It's too early to know which type of manager Zidane will turn out to be, but he gave a pretty big hint when he turned down his former club Bordeaux in the summer of 2014. Back then Zidane was working at Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti's assistant, but Bordeaux were keen to give him his start in management. Now he's in the Real Madrid hot seat, he can afford to bring is as many players as he wants!
