Soccer, Football, whatever you call it- its undeniable that it is a popular sport. This player is irrefutably one of the better players in the sport, and his twitter is nothing if not entertaining. He's personable and witty, and welcomes you in to his life with open arms- though he doesn't always have as nice things to say of his competitors.

Wayne Rooney works on football apps for the fans, and tweets about his family (even showing pictures of his new baby boy to the world). The frequency of his tweets is enough to keep fans engaged, and his up-to-date analysis is the reason that lots of people follow.
