10 Undefeated Boxing Streaks You Need To Know About
8. Jimmy Barry - 59-0-9, 39 KOs (1894-1899)
The Little Tiger held the World Bantamweight Championship from 1894 right up until he retired in 1899. A short career that was jam packed with action that left a lasting legacy. Barry knocked out Jack Levy inside 17 rounds to win the 100-pound championship in his first notable fight and didn't look back from there. Jimmy was also charged with manslaughter during his career, after Walter Croot died of brain injuries the day after a fight between the pair - the 20th knockout of Barry's career. The death dealt a huge blow to Jimmy's confidence as he failed to score a knockout win in the 10 fights after.
