Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are a club who are known for their attacking prowess and for scoring goals (they certainly aren't known for being a tight-knit defensive unit). Honourable Mention: Pedro Mendes Vs Manchester United
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaBZDhDiUsM Date: Tuesday the 4th of January 2005 Venue: Old Trafford Score: 0-0 (The goal would undoubtedly have won Spurs the match) Spurs have won on their last two trips to Old Trafford but, prior to this particular match in 2005, they hadn't won there since 1989. So, imagine their disappoint when this happened... The ball fell to Pedro Mendes just inside the Manchester United half with only one minute of normal time remaining on the clock. Seeing that Roy Carroll was off his line, Mendes ambitiously struck the ball towards goal. Carroll got his body behind it, but his attempt to catch it was fumbled and he pushed the ball a full yard over the line. Referee Mark Clattenburg and linesman Rob Lewis were both too far away to see what happened and the allowed play to carry on. The match finished 0-0 and United nearly went on to win it - and they would have, had it not been for a spectacular save by Paul Robinson from Gabriel Heinze. And now on to the actual list...
