12 Candidates Who Could Be Sunderland's Next Manager
2. David Moyes
The best option for the Sunderland job would be David Moyes, there's no doubt about it, and it's not entirely unfeasible either. Moyes is experienced and built Everton into a tremendous side challenging for Europe every season on a shoestring budget, any chairman's dream. He failed at Manchester United when he was tasked with the impossible job of dealing with the post-Alex Ferguson mess, but his achievements with Everton should never be underestimated. He's an experienced manager who gets the most out of his players and would be the ideal person to extract quality from the likes of Connor Wickham who hasn't yet reached his potential. Moyes' name was strongly linked to Sunderland across the national newspapers, and if he does want a return to the Premier League following his exile to Real Sociedad, Sunderland has the perfect foundations to be another success story for him.
