12 Worst Players Currently Playing For Premier League's Top 6

7. Ragnar Klavan

Speaking of Klopp's leaky back-line, Ragnar Klavan - a £4m signing from Augsburg in the summer of 2016 - is another player who compares unfavourably to the departed Sakho (along with a significant chunk of the Premier League's defenders).

The Estonian wasn't strictly brought in to be a regular, to be fair: a 31-year-old journeyman, taking his tentative first steps at one of European football's elite clubs, hardly fits the profile of a starting centre-back for a side that aspires to challenge for the game's biggest prizes.

But Sakho's exile (there's that name again), coupled with his teammates' alarming form, last year saw him step into a semi-regular role at the heart of Liverpool's back four, where he was badly exposed on more than one occasion.
