15 Footballers With Bizarre Side Jobs
1. Andy Hunt - Hotelier
After a fairly successful footballing career including top tier stints with Charlton and West Brom, Andy Hunt finally retired from the game in 2000. From there he and his wife, the former MTV Europe presenter Simone Angel, made the wise move to sunnier climes. Belize to be exact.
Fortuitously for Hunt, during his non-league days with Kettering Town he found time to study Business and Tourism management, a vocation which no doubt contributed to his and his wife’s decision to set up the ‘Belize Jungle Dome’. Their website boasts a ‘unique vacation experience’, encompassing everything from adventure and romance to archaeological expeditions.
Certainly beats the Match of the Day studio, that’s for sure.
