Andrey Arshavin was one of the more frustrating players to grace the Premier League. He had bags of talent, evidenced in games such as the 4-4 draw away at Liverpool where Arshavin scored all four of Arsenal’s goals. Yet he was often accused of appearing disinterested, lethargic, playing as if his head was in the clouds. Or a women’s dress.

The latter may well have been true, given Arshavin’s second career as a fashion designer. Turns out he’s quite good at it, too, having graduated from the St Petersburg State University of Technology and Design in fashion design, since launching his own clothing line with products ranging from dresses to sportswear.
