2013 NBA Finals Preview

The Benches: Manu Ginobili could make a case for greatest sixth man of all time. If you gave him Sixth Man of The Year every year no one would complain. He€™s the best player in a very select group of guys who are valued higher than the players who start ahead of them. Ginobili leading the second unit will certainly be the most likely advantage commentators will point to should the Spurs win the series. However there is player who is on the Miami Heat who is built for moments like this, Shane Battier. Battier won€™t set the world on fire offensively but could provide a serious deterrent to Ginobili having his way with the Heat. The former first round draft pick has made a name for himself as an excellent defender, plus Battier will not shy away from high stakes scenarios. How well Battier and company deal with Ginobili€™s instant offense could make the difference in the series. Norris Cole and Ray Allen will have a huge impact in the back court off of the bench, especially if they shoot well from three. On the other side DeJuan Blair and Matt Boner will tip the scales in the Spurs favor in terms of the front court off of the bench.

Dante R Maddox got started in writing about pop culture in 2007. He developed his conversational style majoring in English and minoring in speech communication, his desire to write as if he were speaking to the reader face to face was the bane of many professors. An odd blend of geek cred and regular fella chic', you're just as likely to end up talking about baseball or politics as you are about comic books and movies (just don't mention Tucker Carlson, you are addressing the man who will go to jail for assault in the future after all). He wrote a book called The Lineage of Durge that's available on Amazon for a small amount of money, he's writing a second while acting as Editor-in-Stuff over at Saga Online Press, there is a graphic novel expansion of his book series also in the works as well as continued development of his cheesecannon, one day Canada...one day (Seriously, a piece of ham, you slice it up and now it's bacon?!?!? I say thee nay!!!)
