Weight Class: Middleweight Bellator digs up former Strikeforce fighter Melvin Manhoeff (28111 (1)) to cash in on a bit of name value in the headliner of Bellator 125, as he takes on former WEC light heavyweight champion and former Bellator middleweight contender Doug Marshall (18-7). Marshall is coming back from a positive drug test in his failed attempt to win the Bellator middleweight crown, and represents a solid but very beatable challenge for Manhoeff. A loss for either fighter isn't a career killer, while a win will look good on either of their respective records. Bellator, however, is likely banking on Manhoeff paying off for them in the long run, and he does have a slight edge in the bout. He's already lined up a non-Bellator fight for November, so he is risking overlooking Marshall, but nevertheless, he's should be able to take the win here. Manhoeff by TKO in the first.
