1. Patricio Freire (C) vs. Daniel Straus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN_ox4OxRnE Weight Class: Featherweight Patricio Pitbull (222) finally has the featherweight belt, and perhaps some of the respect he feels he deserves. Now, he needs to put up a few title defenses to really cement his legacy in Bellator's tumultuous featherweight division. Facing him is Daniel Straus (235), who less than a year ago held the belt himself. He lost it to the man he won it from, Pat Curran, who in turn lost it to Pitbull. Straus beat Justin Wilcox in the interim, and now finds himself with another title shot. Pitbull is a dangerous striker, and more creative in the cage than Straus. Straus does have knockout power, but Freire has been on a tear of late. They've also met before, and Freire took the win then by decision. Expect the champion to retain in much the same fashion. Patricio Pitbull by decision.
