He also happens to be a team mate of Jones at Jackson-Winklejon, and didn't really do himself any favours with his behaviour on the show. He washed out of the UFC rather quickly, going 1-2 in the promotion, but has strung two wins in a row together now, picking up a victory in his Bellator debut at Bellator 121, then another outside the company. He meets the unheralded Emiliano Sordi (12-4) at Bellator 128. Sordi is an Argentinian fighter making his North American debut in this fight, and McDaniel might be considered by some to be a favourite simply for having been in the UFC and training with Jones, but don't count the South American out. Time difference isn't as much as an issue moving North-South (and vice versa), and Sordi is a tough fighter with some seriously hard kicks and strikes.
