5 Biggest Boxing Fights Still To Come In 2013

2. David Haye vs. Tyson Furydavid_haye The biggest fight in heavyweight UK history since Lewis-Bruno is set to be an exciting affair. The old lion David Haye is somewhat in limbo currently, he is far away from a championship match and is not fighting regularly enough to be ranked by the boards. The only way Haye can get a match with the Klitschko's is talking his way into it, he will certainly have the stage in this match. The young lion Fury is the most exciting British heavyweight prospect around today and is currently unbeaten. Fury is outlandish in his comments and has proven to be a great self promoter in his recent fights. The fight will take place at the Manchester Arena on the 28th of September. Haye is still bouncing back from his crushing defeat against Wladmir Klitschko in 2011. Haye did do well in his grudge match against another British heavyweight Derick Chisora disposing of him in the sixth round but Fury should offer a different challenge. Fury has had many exciting matches against lesser opponents where he has been knocked down on several occasions. This fight is certainly a step up for Fury and he will go into the fight as the underdog. I think Fury will one day be able to challenge David Haye and beat him but it seems a little too soon for the raw heavyweight to be taking on Haye who is undoubtedly a world class boxer.

"If anybody can carry that torch for British boxing, then it is me." - Tyson Fury
