5 Choices To Be Next Aston Villa Manager

4. Fabio Capello

There is a collection of unemployed managers that would jump at the chance of taking over one of the historical big teams in England €“ Bruce, Curbishley, Sven €“ but if Villa did want an unemployed manager with pedigree they could do much worse than approach Fab. The ex-England boss has said he wants to get back into club management, particularly at an English team, and with only the Chelsea job looking available Villa may be in with a shout. His England record was pretty good although the World Cup in South Africa was a disaster, and some may never forgive him for walking out before the Euros, but his club record stands up to anybody. Seven (or nine, depending if you count those won during the Calciopoli scandal) league titles and a Champions League success show his qualities, but unless Lerner is willing to hand over a big transfer budget, would Capello have the stomach for the job at Villa Park?
