5 Fights We Want For UFC's Ronda Rousey
She's quite possibly the best female bantamweight in MMA history, but who should she face next?
Ronda Rousey is arguably the UFC's biggest star at the moment. Dana White believes so, at the very least. Rousey brought women's MMA to Dana White's attention, and her personality and style convinced him to let women fight in the UFC. She's also their most active champion, having fought twice in the past six months, and with a third fight lined up in July against Alexis Davis at UFC 175. Add on a busy media schedule and blossoming movie career (she'll be seen in The Expendables 3 and Fast & Furious 7), and you've got a very busy fighter. Still, Rousey is not one to turn down a fight. If she gets past Davis, she'll have eliminated most of the legitimate challengers to her belt within the UFC. Undefeated in her career, her list of notable wins includes Julia Budd, Sarah Kaufman, Liz Carmouche, Sara McMann, and Miesha Tate, whom she defeated twice, first to take Tate's Strikeforce belt, then again in the UFC. She's wrecking the division, and wrecking arms in the process, with eight of her nine career wins coming by way of arm-bar (her most recent win, over McMann, was a TKO). Should the company look at bringing in some outside talent to face "Rowdy" - or are there fighters left within the UFC bantamweight ranks who could go toe-to-toe with the champ, and avoid her patented arm-bar? Lets take a look at potential competition: here are 5 fights we want for "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey.
