5. Newer Markets Created And Making Their Country Known In MMA Such As Ireland And Mexico
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrLIBMat6Io The international expansion has been fascinating to witness. There have been clear successful events such as Ireland and Mexico. Then weve seen some lackluster events in China and Germany. It has varied for the most part, although the UFC has done well for the majority of their global events. Now its understandable that some fans couldnt care less about newer markets being introduced. They just want to see compelling fights on every card. The opportunity for newer countries such as Russia and Poland to host an event would still be positive. We saw how the crowd made the Ireland event even more special. In loud environments such as those respective European countries, it could be another memorable event. While Sweden isnt necessarily a new market, youll witness a 30,000 area chanting for Alexander Gustafsson in his bout against Anthony Johnson. Could you imagine Khabib Nurmagomedov fighting in a number one contenders bout in Russia? It would make for an even more compelling fight in a hostile environment.
