5 Predictions For UFC 191

2. Andrei Arlovski vs. Frank Mir

Weight Class: Heavyweight Two comeback stories collide, and only one can continue (for now) at UFC 191 as Andrei Arlovski, undefeated in his return to the UFC, meets Frank Mir, the comeback kid of 2015. Mir (18-9), who has the most heavyweight fights in the UFC in the division's history, has won two straight, both by knockout. Arlovski (24-10) has won three straight in the UFC, and five straight overall, with the last two being by way of knockout. Arlovski is, at this point, the better fighter, however this is the heavyweight division, both men are legends, and anything can happen. In his last fight, against Todd Duffee, Mir completely ignored his game plan and got into a stand-up war, an outright brawl, against the younger fighter. His swing for the fences connected, and Duffee went down. This might be a knock against him, however Arlovski did almost the exact same thing against Travis Browne earlier this year, and also came out on top - but not before coming dangerously close to being finished. If Arlovski can fight smarter here, and keep Mir on the outside, avoiding any counter-punches or attempts to take this fight to the mat and end it in submission, he should have the edge here. Arlovski by TKO in the 2nd, but this is anyone's fight.
