5 Predictions For UFC 192

3. Ryan Bader vs. Rashad Evans

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB-S5XTOxfE Weight Class: Light Heavyweight Were there any justice, Ryan Bader (19€“4) would be in the headlining fight of UFC 192, challenging Daniel Cormier for his light heavyweight championship. He's the highest ranked light heavyweight with a three or more fight win streak at the moment. He has never had a title shot. And he has looked the best he has in his career. Yet to some, mainly in the UFC's front office, Bader's style - wrestling based - is as exciting as watching paint dry, and historically, he hasn't shown a lot of personality. That said, by crashing Daniel Cormier's press conference after D.C. won the light heavyweight title earlier this year, he certainly showed that he's willing to put in the effort. The UFC had other plans, however, putting Bader up against former champ Rashad Evans. As consolation prizes go, Evans (19€“3€“1) is pretty darn good. While the ex-champ hasn't been very active since his loss to Jon Jones back in 2012, and hasn't fought in almost two years, he is on a two fight win streak. Ring rust is always a concern, but Evans is a veteran fighter. The real question is, does Bader have what it takes to get past him. At this point in their careers, Bader just might. This fight is a bit of a toss up. Evans comes in as the favourite, but it's not as if he hasn't been upset before (primarily by Little Nog, the last loss on his record). Bader by split decision, but it will be close.
