5 Reasons Pre-Season NFL Football Is BAD

1. Level of Game Play Performance

Dpp 0002 The game play in the pre-season is beyond sub-par. No one plays at their best cause they don't have any reason to. They don't get bonuses or yards added to their records. As stated before, if they get injured they are out of the regular season. The starters barely play. What we end up with is college level game play in good games and high school JV game play for the rest. I don't watch professional sports to see the practice squad. I don't watch professional sports for half-assed effort. The pre-season does nothing but risk the careers of good players. If they need to see how the new guys play, then they can form a farm league like baseball. Stop lying to us and trying to waste our time with pre-season bulls**t. If I wanted to watch high school football I would go watch watch my old high school play on Friday nights. I am so happy that the regular season has begun.

"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." -Abraham Lincoln This probably is the best way to explain how I try to live my life. I have plans for the future, but try not to lose sight of the now. I enjoy writing for this reason I think. Another of my favorite quotes is: "There are no bad pictures; that's just how your face looks sometimes." -Abraham Lincoln The fact that someone as influential and important is so grounded is really cool to me.
