A great thing to do to keep everyone entertained throughout the long game is to come up with some games to play. Here's a fun one that you can try out: Have everyone contribute a certain amount of money (1, 5, 10) into a pool. The person with the most points at the end of the game will win the pool. Everyone should receive a pre-constructed sheet with various questions. such as: What brand of beer will have the first commercial? Who will score first? Who will be leading at halftime? How many interceptions will Peyton Manning throw? There are tons of questions you can ask - these are just a few examples. You can have drinking games, if you don't care to watch the game any longer; drink every time there is a touchdown, fourth down, ten yard run, etc. If the game isn't keeping people entertained, it becomes your job as the party host to step up and do so. Pre-planning games will be be a lot of fun for everyone and a good way to pass the time.
